The GOOS Steering Committee governs and coordinates the components of GOOS, steering its work to achieve objectives of the Global Ocean Observing System 2030 Strategy. The GOOS mission is to lead the ocean observing community and create the partnerships to grow an integrated, responsive, and sustained observing system.
